Two Good Runs Wrap Up Swanson’s Memorial Day

Jonathan Swanson and the 17j team had a double race weekend this past Memorial Day.  Swanson would visit Big Diamond Speedway on Friday night May 25th.  Big Diamond holds a special place in Swanson’s heart.  It was the location of Swanson’s first URC 360 win.  It was also the place where Swanson had a bad crash last year and was sidelined for a number of weeks.  This year Swanson would qualify for the feature through his heat race finishing 4th.  On a difficult suface Swanson finished in the 4th position.

On Sunday Swanson and his crew towed the short distance to Bridgeport Speedway for the TSRS 305 race.  Swanson qualified for the main event and started 17th.  The feature Swanson marched forward finishing in the 12th position continuing his string of good runs with the ever growing TSRS series.
